PURPOSE: A golf ball having an illumination unit is provided to allow a golfer to play a golf game even in the night by having a light emitter illuminated for a determined time according to the change of the impact energy into the electric energy when he/she swings. CONSTITUTION: The golf ball with an illumination unit includes: a transparent outer layer, made out of a synthetic resin; an elastic middle layer; and a core(7), in which several piezoelectric cells(11), a battery(12) and a light emitter(14) are built and connected with each other by means of a conductor. The outer layer is mixed with a diffuse-reflected material.
