LCD AND A METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME TO PREVENT A FLICKER PHENOMENON

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a method of driving the same are provided to prevent a flicker phenomenon by applying a gradation voltage with one polarity to a source drive part during a time period in one frame of a dot screen. CONSTITUTION: A timing controller outputs RGB(Red Green Blue) data and the first and second control signals in order to implement a predetermined screen. The first source drive part(410) receives the RGB data, the first control signal and a gradation voltage and outputs the first source signal. The second source drive part(510) receives the RGB data, the first control signal and the gradation voltage and outputs the second source signal. A gate drive part generates a gate signal in response to the second control signal and a gate turn on and turn off voltage. An LCD panel displays an image on the screen in response to the source signal and the gate signal.
