PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to stabilize the operation of a semiconductor device by thermally high-insulating the semiconductor device from the outside of the device. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor device(16) is disposed on the surface of a support substrate(11). The surface of the support substrate is coated with a case member(12) to seal the semiconductor device. An outer terminal(18) extending to the outside is electrically connected to the semiconductor device by a connection unit. A fixing part comes in contact with the side surface of the semiconductor device to mechanically fix the semiconductor device to the support substrate.
