PURPOSE: To provide sludge collection pipes for an underwater transfer car type sludge collector, wherein tangential orifices are attached to the sludge collection pipes to obtain cyclone flow of sludge flown into the sludge collection pipes, prevent disturbance of flow of sludge in the sludge collection pipes and accelerate flow of sludge longitudinally in the sludge collection pipes connected to a sludge discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION: In sludge collection pipes(5) for an underwater transfer car type sludge collector(3), the underwater transfer car type sludge collector in which orifices are attached to the sludge collection pipes is characterized in that a plurality of underwater transfer car wheels(4) are installed on the bottom of the sludge collection pipes with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance, a guide(5b) is installed at the outer side of the sludge collection pipes, a plurality of tangential orifices(5a) are attached to an inner lower part of the sludge collection pipes with being distanced from each other in a certain distance in such a way that the tangential orifices are longitudinally parallel to the bottom surface of a sedimentation basin(7), a flexible hose(6a) connected to a sludge discharge pipe(6) fixed to the side surface of the sedimentation basin is installed at a central part of the sludge collection pipes, and the sludge collection pipes are installed in such a way that the orifices attached to the sludge collection pipes are inclined to the bottom of the sedimentation basin as much as an angle of zero to 45 degrees.
