PURPOSE: A method of interpreting a response time to optimally design a real-time distributive control system is provided to realize a complicated interpretation algorithm of a real-time distributive control system as software, thereby easily interpreting and evaluating the real-time distributive control system without a deep understanding of the interpretation algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A system sets design conditions of a real-time distributive control system(311), and designs the real-time distributive control system according to the design conditions(321). The system converts or reconfigures the designed control system into plural controllers having plural tasks and plural networks transmitting plural messages(331). The system sets time attribute factors of the tasks and the messages(341), and interprets response times of the controllers and the networks by considering worst cases(351). The system compares the response times with deadlines of the tasks and the messages(361). If the response times are smaller than the deadlines, the system decides that the design conditions are proper(371).
