LCD HAVING TIMING CONTROLLER CAPABLE OF RECEIVING SIGNALS OF TWO TYPES

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having timing controller capable of receiving signals of two types is provided to control data signals with an LVDS(Low Voltage Differential Signaling) type and a TMDS(Transition Minimized Differential Signaling) type by adding an input option pin to the timing controller. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel includes a plurality of pixel electrodes. A gate drive part transfers a scan signal to the liquid crystal panel. A timing controller(100) provides a data signal inputted from the outside and a timing signal for controlling display of the liquid crystal panel. The timing controller includes an option pin(110) to which a control signal is applied so that input signals having two types can be received selectively.
