摘要 PURPOSE: Provided are a pretreatment solution for a negative electrode current collector of a lithium secondary battery which minimizes the thickness of a pretreatment coating layer and increases the adhesive strength to an active material and conductivity, a pretreatment method of a negative electrode current collector using the pretreatment solution, and a lithium secondary battery containing the negative electrode current collector which is improved in high rate discharge capacity and charge/discharge lifetime and is reduced in internal resistance. CONSTITUTION: The pretreatment solution contains a vapor phase growth carbon fiber. Preferably the pretreatment solution comprises 100 parts by weight of a solid part comprising 50-99 wt% of a polymer binder, 1-50 wt% of a vapor phase growth carbon fiber and optionally 50 wt% or less of a conductive material; and 100-1,000 parts by weight of a solvent. Preferably the vapor phase growth carbon fiber is a graphite-based vapor phase growth carbon fiber.
