PURPOSE: An output power detection device is provided to detect an output power right before performing an antenna matching process, thereby economically controlling a variable gain while reducing power consumption and improving properties of an output power detection function. CONSTITUTION: An antenna matching unit(410) carries out an impedance matching process according to transceiving signals. A multiplexer(420) separately outputs a receiving signal received from the matching unit(410), and sends a transmission signal to the matching unit(410). Plural transceivers(430,440,450) process the received receiving signal, and process the transmission signal to send the processed transmission signal to the multiplexer(420). A controller(460) controls transceiving variable gains of the transceivers(430,440,450). An output power detector(470) detects an output power, and outputs the detected value to the controller as an output power detection signal.
