PURPOSE: A cosmetics storage compartment installed in a door of an electric refrigerator is provided to remove noise generated in using a refrigerator only for cosmetics composed of a thermoelectric element and various fans. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetics storage compartment installed in a door(13) of an electric refrigerator is composed of a cosmetics storage compartment door(14) opened and closed on the door of a refrigerator compartment; a housing(23) having a constant space part formed in the cosmetics storage compartment door; an air inlet passage(20) disposed at the part for combining the housing and the refrigerator compartment door to connect the inside of the refrigerator compartment door with the outside; a blower fan(19) for inducing the air sucked in through the air inlet passage into the housing; an intake air valve(18) installed at the air inlet passage to open and close selectively the air inlet passage; and a control unit for keeping continuously the temperature of the cosmetics storage compartment within a set temperature range.
