MULTI-DOMAIN LCD TO IMPROVE IMAGE QUALITY AND REDUCE LIGHT THAT COMES THROUGH A DATA LINE

PURPOSE: A multi-domain LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve image quality by reducing load on a data line and to reduce light that comes through the data line by decreasing capacitance resulted from the coupling between the data line and a reference electrode. CONSTITUTION: The first signal line is formed on the first insulation substrate and extended to the first direction. The second signal line formed on the first insulation substrate crosses the first signal line with insulation and has a bent part and a part extended to the second direction. A pixel electrode is formed at each pixel defined by cross of the first and second signal lines. A thin film transistor is electrically connected to the first signal line, the second signal line and the pixel electrode. The second insulation substrate faces with the first insulation substrate. A common electrode formed on the second insulation substrate has an open hole part(277). The bent part and the extended part appear repeatedly at every pixel region.
