PURPOSE: A cold cathode fluorescent lamp driver circuit is provided to operate a plurality of cold cathode fluorescent lamps in a uniform and stable manner by using a common power source. CONSTITUTION: A cold cathode fluorescent lamp driver circuit comprises one or more ballasts, at least one of which is connected to at least an electrode arranged at one end of each of cold cathode fluorescent lamps(20); and a low impedance power supply for supplying power to the cold cathode fluorescent lamps through the ballast. The low impedance power supply has an output impedance lower than the total impedance of the cold cathode fluorescent lamps.
