PURPOSE: A heat energy control method is provided to adjust output of heat energy by adjusting the value of the current applied to a circuit. CONSTITUTION: A heat energy control method comprises a step of setting the value of the current applied to a circuit in accordance with a mode, within the range of the maximum allowable current value; a step of controlling the relevant value of the current applied to the circuit by adjusting driving point of time of a first relay and a second relay in accordance with a mode; and a step of controlling drive of a magnetron and a load by the power applied to circuit. Only the first relay is driven when the magnetron is driven together with the load, and the value of the allowable current applied to a primary end of a transformer in the circuit is adjusted to the level lower than the maximum allowable current value.
