BEAD WITH EASINESS IN DISCHARGE OF CHIPS AND A WIRE SAW WITH THE BEAD FOR IMPROVING THE CUTTING PERFORMANCE BY PREVENTING PARTIAL SIDE WEAR

PURPOSE: A bead with easiness in discharge of chips and a wire saw with the bead are provided to improve the cooling efficiency by uniformly supplying a coolant between a cut surface of a work material and the wire saw and to smoothly discharge chips, produced from the work material during cutting work, to the outside. CONSTITUTION: Beads(10) with easiness in discharge of chips are arranged to a wire(110) at regular intervals to cut a material to be cut. The wire turns while forming a uniform locus by a driving motor of a wire saw machine. The bead includes a bead body and plural abrasives(13). The bead body comprises a hollow cylindrical shank(11) fitted to the wire and a metal-combined layer(12) integrally formed to the outside of the shank. The abrasives are fixed to the metal-combined layer. At least one groove(19) is formed to the outside of the bead body in the advancing direction of the wire from the front end of the bead body and to the rear end of the bead body.
