PURPOSE: A method of resetting a plasma display panel for applying a bias voltage to address electrode lines and a method of driving the plasma display panel using the same are provided to improve the contrast performance and prevent an increase of addressing voltage by controlling the discharge from address electrode lines to Y electrode lines when a fourth voltage lower than a third voltage is applied to address electrode lines. CONSTITUTION: A wall charge accumulation process is performed to raise continuously a voltage applied to second display electrode lines to a first voltage. A wall charge distribution process is performed to drop continuously a voltage applied to second display electrode lines to a third voltage lower than the second voltage while the voltage applied to the first display electrode lines is maintained at the second voltage lower than the first voltage. A fourth voltage lower than the third voltage is applied to the address electrode lines. |
