FLEXIBLE PERMANENT MAGNET RETAINER RING FOR A WELDING WIRE PACKAGE HAVING A CYLINDRICAL DRUM WITH A CENTRAL AXIS

PURPOSE: A retainer ring for a wire package is provided to reduce entanglement of a wire by keeping the retainer ring in an upper part of the wire with magnetic force instead of tare without modifying structure of a drum, and to prevent the side of a ring from being lifted up by contacting the retainer ring to the upper part of the wire stack securely. CONSTITUTION: A welding wire package is composed of a drum(10) or a box with a central axis, and a stack wire is formed by winding multi-layered welding wires. The welding wire is unwound from the stack wire, and the welding wire stack is composed of an upper ring-shaped surface having a cylindrical outside and a cylindrical inside for forming a central bore(46) arranged concentrically to the central axis. A flexible permanent magnet retainer ring(R) is arranged in an upper part of the upper ring-shaped surface, and the welding wire is unwound upward from the central bore in a lower part of a ring by the retainer ring.
