GLASS SUBSTRATE FOR DISPLAY AND A METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME TO IMPROVE SURFACE QUALITY OF THE GLASS SUBSTRATE

PURPOSE: A glass substrate for display and a method of fabricating the same are provided to improve surface quality of the glass substrate by preventing disconnection and a short circuit from arising even at non-polished glass. CONSTITUTION: A glass substrate(50) has an area of more than 0.1 square meter, thickness of less than 2.5 mm. The number of a surface protrusion that exists on the glass substrate is less than two per square meter, wherein the glass substrate is not polished. The number of grains, comprised of an element in the platinum group and alloy of the element therein, is less than 40 per kilogram.
