The invention relates to a hydraulic system, especially for motor vehicles, comprising a slave cylinder which is provided with a housing, a master cylinder and a pressure medium line connected thereto. According to the invention, the problem of providing a hydraulic system which is economical to produce is solved by the fact that the housing of the slave cylinder is made of plastic and reinforcements are arranged in the housing.
