PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus is provided to smoothly radiate heat generated from a portable electronic device, by simultaneously using a phase change material unit and a micro cooling unit. CONSTITUTION: A cooling apparatus comprises a phase change material unit(20) for contacting a heat source and causing a phase change by the heat transferred from the heat source; and a micro cooling unit(30) having a side contacting the phase change material unit. The micro cooling unit has a cooling cycle for performing heat exchange for movement of the heat transferred from the phase change material unit by repeating condensation and vaporization through the use of a capillarity phenomenon.
