PURPOSE: To provide an activated carbon regeneration system for volatile organic compound removal which excludes risk factors such as a fire by adopting a sprinkler means automatically controlled and substantially increases regeneration efficiency of activated carbon by effectively removing volatile organic compounds in activated carbon within a short time. CONSTITUTION: The activated carbon regeneration system for volatile organic compound removal comprises a chamber(12) having a certain volume which is connected to an exhaust line of a facility for exhausting an exhaust gas containing volatile organic compounds in such a way that the chamber is selectively sealed by an entrance side damper(10) and an exit side damper(11), and in which several stages of activated carbon are contained; a circulation line(13) connected to an upper portion of one side of the chamber and a lower portion of the other side of the chamber so that air in the chamber is circulated through the circulation line, and a fan for forcibly circulating the air through the circulation line; a heat exchanger(15) installed at one side of the circulation line to heat exchange the air circulated, and a heater(16) for supplying a heat source to the heat exchanger; an air inlet(18) opened and closed by respective solenoid valves(17a,17b) to flow an external air into the chamber, and a volatile organic compound discharge port(19) connected to an incinerator to discharge volatile organic compounds contained in air inside the circulation line; sensors respectively installed in the solenoid valves, in the activated carbon inside the chamber and on the circulation line; and a microcomputer connected with the dampers, the fan and the heater to control them.
