PURPOSE: A driver head position measurement method and a driver head position measurement device are provided to measure the position of driver's head exactly and precisely without having an effect on the cost of production of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A driver head position measurement method comprises steps of detecting a first horizontal angle, a horizontal inclination angle of a left rear view mirror(S410); deciding a first horizontal angular range from the left rear view mirror of the position of driver's head on the basis of the first horizontal angle(S415); detecting a second horizontal angle, a horizontal inclination angle of a right rear view mirror(S420); deciding a second horizontal angular range from the right rear view mirror of the position of driver's head on the basis of the second horizontal angle(S425); detecting a first vertical angle, a vertical inclination angle of the left rear view mirror(S430); deciding a first vertical angular range from the left rear view mirror of the position of driver's head on the basis of the second vertical angle(S435); detecting a second vertical angle, a vertical inclination angle of the right rear view mirror(S440); deciding a second vertical angular range from the right rear view mirror of the position of driver's head on the basis of the second vertical angle(S445); and determining the position of driver's head is within the first and second vertical angular ranges(S450).
