PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce original audio data without adversely affecting the reproducing control of a disk even though track data kind is decided wrongly as ROM data and obtained from TOC information while reproducing a CD-DA and a multi-session disk. SOLUTION: In a disk reproducing device which performs reproducing control based on TOC information being notified from a disk driving/reproducing means, the followings are conducted, i.e., when TOC information is obtained from a lead-in area (S1) and a leading address of a data area is retrieved (S2), the data kind of the leading track included in the TOC information is referred (S3). When the data kind indicates audio data (S4), all of the identification information of each track within a session are rewritten to correspond to audio data, the TOC information is changed (S5) and the changed TOC information is notified to a control means (S6).
