PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector apparatus which can correct the detection errors with respect to a temperature change generated in a gravity acceleration sensor discretely by each of the projectors. SOLUTION: A CPU 17 temporarily holds the gravity acceleration Gh (t0) detected by an inclination sensor 18 and the temperature T (t0) detected by a temperature sensor 19 right after switching on of a power source of the liquid crystal projector into a memory 20 when the power source is switched on. When the CPU 17 detects the saturated state of the temperature in the apparatus, the CPU temporarily holds the gravity acceleration Gh (ts) detected by the inclination sensor 18 detected at the time ts and the temperature T (ts) detected by the temperature sensor 19 into the memory 20. The CPU 17 calculates the gravity acceleration error Gh 0 with respect to the temperature change by the equation (not shown) from the gravity acceleration Gh (t0) right after switching on of the power source and the temperature T (t0) of that time and the gravity acceleration Gh (ts) at the time ts and the temperature T (ts) of that time.
