PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing controller which performs excellent display by deterring a display screen from being disordered. SOLUTION: The drawing controller is equipped with monomedia of a still picture etc., a content receiving means of receiving content data including layout data of a moving picture of monomedia, a content analyzing means of analyzing the content data, a layout means of instructing the display position of the still picture and the scaling and display position of the moving picture, a drawing instruction holding means of holding an instruction from the layout means, an MPEG decoding means of decoding MPEG video and displaying it at the specified position through the specified scaling, a still picture drawing means of displaying the still picture at the specified position, a resolution switching means of switching the resolution of the display, a moving picture/still picture composing means of putting the MPEG video and still picture, and also blacking out the display and resetting the blackout, the display which outputs the composed moving/still picture, a resolution acquiring means of acquiring the resolution of the display, and a drawing control means of instructing drawing according to the drawing instruction stored in the drawing instruction holding part and the resolution of the display.
