PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device, capable of properly regulating an inflow rate of a cooling air inflow device, effective in misfire prevention of a combustion burner, and capable of properly controlling temperature inside a furnace, in the continuous baking furnace such as a Riedhammer furnace. SOLUTION: In the continuous baking furnace having the combusting burner and the cooling air inflow device, and continuously baking and cooling a baked object, the inflow rate of cooling air is automatically regulated according to an in-furnace temperature. The baking furnace has the combusting burner and the cooling air inflow device, and continuously bakes and cools the baked object. A cooling window of the cooling air inflow device is provided with a solenoid valve.
