PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature/humidity regulation mechanism and a storage device using the mechanism that can be appropriately used for food storage owing to easy and accurate control of the temperature and humidity of a chamber of the storage device. SOLUTION: The temperature/humidity regulation mechanism, which draws steam evaporating from water retained in a water tub 28 into air and feeding the air including the steam to a region 12 under temperature/humidity regulation to regulate the region 12 to a given temperature/humidity, comprises a mechanism 32 for increasing and reducing the surface area of the water surface in the water tub 28, a blower mechanism 2 for blowing air to the water tub 28, and an air temperature regulation mechanism 26 for regulating the temperature of the air blown to the water tub 28.
