摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make freely settable the thickness of a cooled and solidified body of a molten object discharged from an ash melting furnace. SOLUTION: A molten object chute 5 guiding the molten object 4 from the ash melting furnace is connected to an input opening 2 of a mold conveyer I provided with a multiplicity of molds 16 circulated by a drive unit 10. A non-contact type level meter 21 measuring a surface level of the molten object 4 in the mold 16 positioned in a drop input position of the molten object 4 is provided in a neighborhood position of the input opening 2, and a controller 22 is provided for carrying out operation control of the drive unit 10 on the basis of a detection result of the level meter 21. In the controller 22, the thickness of the molten object 4 in the mold 16 is calculated from a difference between a measurement result of the surface level of the molten object 4 by the level meter 21, and an inner bottom position of the mold 16, and when a calculated value reaches a predetermined thickness, a command is issued to the drive unit 10 by the controller 22 to promptly move the next mold 16 to the input position of the molten object 4, and the thickness of the molten object 1 put in each mold 16 is made constant.
