PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening structure that retains a special space that is suited to growth and insertion of bryophytes without impediment of vital activity of bryophytes and holds a proper level of water retention as well as water permeation by physically and forcibly immobilizing the life cycle and properties intrinsic to bryophytes. SOLUTION: In order to adhere the mosses selected from bryophytes, recycled products, for example, waste plastics, waste rubbers, waste FRP are utilized to form block-formed environmental quality-improving greening material in which network structures and immobilizing foundations therefor are integrated whereby these greening members are immobilized with the rooting ability of the moss.
