<p>Titanium electrode is coated with powdered magnetite (optionally with addition of up to 5% of a polymer, pref. PVC, polyethylene or PTFE) by the explosion method. In this way, the magnetite powder can be fastened to the titanium substrate without excessive heating, which would result in a reaction between the magnetite and Ti leading to decreased resistance to the electrolyte.
