The rubbish bag holder (2) has a slit (4) enclosed by at least one part (6,8,10,12) which is made of a spring material, for clamping part of a rubbish bag (14) inserted in the slit. The spring material parts may lie in the same plane and are deflected for insertion of a part of the rubbish bag, before springing back into their original position for providing the clamping force. The holder can be incorporated in the dashboard panel or a door fascia panel.
