New emitter-binding peptide, useful for in vitro diagnosis of e.g. antigens, binds to an emitter to change its spectral emission properties, also related nucleic acid, vectors, cells and antibodies

An emitter-binding peptide (I) that causes a change in the spectral emission properties of an emitter (E) when its antigen-binding pocket interacts with (E), is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) polynucleotides (II), especially DNA, RNA or peptide nucleic acid, comprising a sequence that encodes (I) or its functional variant; (2) DNA or RNA vector that contains at least one (II) and is expressible in cells; (3) host cell that contains (II) or the vector of (2); (4) antibodies (Ab), especially mono- or polyclonal, human, humanized, synthetic or recombinant, that includes at least one (I); (5) method for preparing (I) by immunization with an (E) that contains a specific dye; (6) method for preparing (I) by recombinant and/or synthetic peptide preparation; (7) kit for in vitro diagnosis comprising at least one of (I), (II), cells of (3) or Ab, optionally also other auxiliaries, in same or separate containers, and/or instructions; and (8) method for quantitative in vitro determination of a substance in a sample that uses (I).
