Arrangement (1) for controlling a system controlled by an operating person, especially a railway signal box, has a display device (4) for displaying system conditions in the form of status diagrams and whereby data are input to the display device via two separated channels that are operated in a cyclical alternating fashion so that errors in one of the channels can be detected by an operator.
