<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CD4 in the Guinea Pig useful as a model animal, and a polynucleotide, etc., encoding the CD4. <P>SOLUTION: The polynucleotide comprises protein selected from following proteins (a)-(d) group. (a) a protein containing a specific amino acid sequence, (b) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids are deleted, substituted, inserted and/or added in the specified amino acid sequence and having a major histocompatibility complex Class II avidity, (c) a protein comprising an amino acid sequence which has at least 70% of sequence identity with the specified amino acid sequence and having a major histocompatibility complex Class II avidity, and (d) a protein comprising amino acid sequence encoded by a DNA which hybridizes with a complimentary DNA to the DNA comprising the specified base sequence, in a stringent condition and having a major histocompatibility complex Class II avidity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
