<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a roof and a building capable of facilitating construction work, obtaining sufficient daylighting and having the excellent external appearance. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of struts 4 are erected on the upper end section on the outside of a building body 2 at predetermined intervals, each roof panel 5 is placed in the upper end sections of these struts 4 so that it is inclined downward to the approximately central part of the building body 2, and the upper end section of the roof panel 5 is supported by the upper end sections of the struts 4.
