<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a papermaking additive which is obtained by effectively utilizing a cellulose-containing natural polymer such as paper in industrial/domestic waste, a fine fiber, wood, a straw, etc., or a cellulosic material such as wastepaper, etc., is used in high concentration, has low dry load after coating and provides sufficient compressive strength. <P>SOLUTION: Mixing a cellulosic material with a solvent and making the solvent in a supercritical or subcritical state to depolymerize the cellulosic material produces the papermaking additive containing a cellulose decomposition product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
