<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent generation of false lock condition by inserting a retainer to prevent lock untill a terminal of a counter part tube is inserted to a normal perfect joint position. <P>SOLUTION: This quick connector has an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the counter part tube in the same size with the diameter of a spool part 30 or less, and the quick connector is provided with a regulating ring member 40 for regulating movement of the retainer 16 by moving in the axial direction inside a housing 12 between a regulating position and a regulation releasing position. The regulating ring member 40 is provided with bar parts 42a and 42b for hindering movement of the retainer by interfering with a leg part of the retainer at the regulating position. When the terminal of the counter part tube is inserted into the normal joint position inside the housing, the regulating ring member 40 is moved to the regulation releasing position so that the retainer 16 can move. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
