<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a business protocol of EDI (electronic data interchange) by connecting inquiry-responding type Web sales servers to an EDI system operating according to the business protocol without remodeling the Web sales servers. <P>SOLUTION: A relay server 100 interposed between the EDI system 600 and Web sales servers 700 receives service request data including a product name from the EDI system 600, determines a Web sales server 700 to which an inquiry request is issued from the product name, transmits the inquiry request of the product to the determined Web sales server 700, receives response data for the product from this Web sales server 700, forms answer data to the service request from the received response data, and returns the formed answer data to the EDI system 600. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
