<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control relative position variation between light emitting point and a lens by temperature rise in a print head which performs optical printing. <P>SOLUTION: An LED array 51, a celfok (R) lens array 53, a housing 54, and a plate 56 are included. The housing 54 and the plate 56 are joined at the 1st adhesion point 71. The plate 56 and the celfok (R) lens array 53 are joined at the 2nd adhesion point 72. The housing 54 and the LED array 51 are joined at the 3rd adhesion point 73. The device is characterized by being β/α≈ay/by≈az/bz, whereas β is a coefficient of linear expansion of the housing 54; α is a coefficient of linear expansion of the plate 56; (ay) is a sub-scanning direction distance at the 1st adhesion point 71 and the 2nd adhesion point 72; (az) is a distance in the focal point direction; (by) is a sub-scanning direction distance at the 1st adhesion point 71 and the 3rd adhesion point; and (bz) is a distance in the focal point direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
