PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble prodrug of paclitaxel and its derivative and provide its pharmacologically permissible salt. SOLUTION: The invention provides a compound expressed by formula (1) [R<SP>1</SP>is a (substituted) alkyl, a (substituted) aryl, a (substituted) alkoxy, a (substituted) alkylthio, a (substituted) aralkyloxy, a (substituted) alkenyl or a (substituted) heteroaryl; R<SP>2</SP>is a (substituted) aryl; R<SP>3</SP>is a (substituted) alkyl; R<SP>4</SP>is H, a (substituted) alkylcarbonyl, a (substituted) alkenylcarbonyl, a (substituted) alkyloxycarbonyl or a (substituted) carbamoyl; R<SP>5</SP>is H, a (substituted) alkyl, a (substituted) alkenyl, a (substituted) aryl or a (substituted) heteroaryl; and R<SP>6</SP>is H or a (substituted) alkylcarbonyl] or its pharmacologically permissible salt.
