PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection system, a detection method and a detection program capable of instantly switching detection ranges of a plurality of receivers according to circumstances. SOLUTION: This detection system 1 is provided with a receipt signal processing part 2 receiving receiver information transmitted from a plurality of receivers 20a and 20b-20e in an observation area 26, in which a pedestrian 22 carrying a transmitter 21 moves, via a communication network 25 and outputting positional detection data, a position estimation part 3 estimating a current position of the pedestrian from the positional detection data, a position display part 4 displaying the position of the transmitter when the pedestrian 22 moves, and a receipt sensitiveness setting switching means 5 switching the range of the detection areas of the receivers 20a and 20b-20e according to the circumstances.
