PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saponified product composition of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, hardly affected by heat at melt-forming, having good film-formability, and providing a formed film having a stable thickness in the MD direction. SOLUTION: The saponified product composition of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer comprises a saponified product of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer satisfying formula (1): 14,750×Mw<SP>-0.75</SP>≤ECD [wherein ECD is a standard deviation of a distribution width of an ethylene composition when a reacetylated product of the saponified product of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is measured by a liquid chromatography having an evaporation-type light scattering detector; Mw is a weight average molecular weight of the reacetylated product of the saponified product of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer measured by a GPC by using a polystyrene as a standard]; and satisfies the condition of formula (2): AE≤78exp(-0.005ET) [wherein, AE is an activation energy (kj/mol) of a melt viscosity; ET is an ethylene content (mol%) of the saponified product of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer].
