PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle capable of rapidly and properly re-starting an engine when requirements for restarting are met after the stoppage of the engine. SOLUTION: This control device of the vehicle comprises a fuel injection valve 8 injecting a fuel to a cylinder, which comes in at least an expansion stroke when the engine is stopped, immediately before the stoppage of the engine, a restart motor 20 restarting the engine by driving the output shaft of the engine when the requirements for restart are met after the stoppage of the engine, an ignition control means 43 controlling to ignite a mixture generated by injecting the fuel into the cylinder when the engine is restarted, a battery residual amount sensor 36 detecting the residual amount of a battery, and a fuel injection control means 42 setting the injected amount of the fuel injected into the cylinder immediately before the stoppage of the engine to a larger value than in a case when the residual amount of the battery is large.
