PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a burglarproofness by preventing a malfeasant unlocking by rotating a thumb-turn by hanging an inserted wire, bar or the like to the thumb-turn. SOLUTION: In the thumb-turn 100, in which a rotary operating physical force as an unlocking operation to a lock box installed to a door cannot be input by controlling the rotation of a tabular grip 21 projected to a surface on the indoor side of the door in response to the input status of the rotary operating force, the grip 21 being connected to a thumb-turn shaft 15 transmitting the operating force to the lock box and being movable to the outside in the rotary radial direction to the shaft 15, a rotary control member 29 being mounted outside the rotary local circle of the grip 21 and preventing the turn of the grip 21 by an abutting against the grip 21 moved outside the rotary radial direction and a coil spring 27 being interposed between the shaft 15 and the grip 21 and returning the moved grip 21 to an original place are provided.
