PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molding which has formed a protective coat excellent in appearance, scratch resistance, hot water resistance, and weatherability and sufficient in adhesion to a plastic substrate and is excellent in scratch resistance, hot water resistance and weatherability. SOLUTION: The two-layer protective coat is formed on the plastic substrate. The first layer of the protective coat contains a (meth)acrylic polymer of 150,000-400,000 in weight average molecular weight and an organic ultraviolet absorber of 200-1,000 in molecular weight per one hydroxyl group in a molecule. The second layer is obtained by heating/curing a silica composition containing the hydrolyzates of organosilanes expressed by the formula: R<SP>1</SP><SB>n</SB>Si(OR<SP>2</SP>)<SB>4-n</SB>(wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-10C organic group; R<SP>2</SP>is a 1-5C alkyl group or 1-4C acyl group; and n is 1 or 2) and colloidal silica on the first layer.
