<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device and a program for allocating a substitute product capable of enhancing a customers' satisfaction level. <P>SOLUTION: A request for product maintenance including repair is accepted and thereby the substitute product of the same kind is lent to a customer. The substitute product is allocated to the customer selected on the basis of priority determined by repair attributes, customers' attributes, or combinations thereof.
