<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform conventional trouble shooting for a simple trouble and to check the factors in detail for a complex trouble. <P>SOLUTION: The motor driver comprises a plurality of kinds of protection detection function sections 1a-1n, a means 2 for classifying detected protection factors and outputting them while hierarchizing based on a display switch command, and a display 3 for displaying the operating state of the motor driver and generated protection factors hierarchically. Since the means 2 displays the protection factors while hierarchizing when the protection detection function section 1a-1n is operating the protective function, protection factor information classified roughly and in detail can be displayed in addition to conventional protection detection information.
