<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electrostatic induction noise from a photographic object. <P>SOLUTION: A shielding layer suppressing the induction noise from a finger is provided between a sensor 11 and the finger 16. Shielding suppressing the electrostatic induction is achieved with a member having a low dielectric constant (a induction noise shielding layer 14). The shielding layer is highly functional since it has a protective function for a surface of an imaging device and an optical function. Furthermore, since the shielding layer is formed on the imaging device by using a semiconductor process, simplicity and low cost are realized without any additional processing.
