PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a damage such as a breakage or the like at a ridge line of a packing container resulting from concentrated stress occurring at an upper corner part of the container, caused by a shock when the packing container storing a container to be packed is dropped. SOLUTION: This packing container comprises a barrel frame part constituting a body, a bottom flap constituting the bottom part of the packing container, and a lid flap constituting the top part of the packing box, and is constituted of the barrel frame parts 2, 3 and the lid flaps 15, 16. The ridge lines (folding lines 2c, 3c) formed by the barrel frame parts 2, 3 and the lid flaps 15, 16 from among the three ridges forming one angle part is provided with a cut-off part having a specified length.
