PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label pasting device for solving the cobwebbing problem of paste and for pasting a label with improved accuracy. SOLUTION: This label pasting device is provided with a sliding part 19 having a sliding face 19a where a belt-shaped release sheet 4 transferred in one direction slides and a separation part 20 where a label 5 is separated from the release sheet 4 as the release sheet 4 is folded back positioned in the front part of the sliding part 19. The release sheet 4 is divided into a plurality of release sheet strips 6 extending in the axis direction of the release sheet 4, and the label 5 is tentatively attached to the strips 6 stretching over a plurality of them. The part 19 is formed at least either with a protrusion 21 protruding from the face 19a or a recess receding from the face 19a. One side strip 6a is structured to be transferred over the protrusion 21, and the other side strip 6b along the face 19a of the protrusion 21 side.
