PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a payment adjustment device for gas supply in which a user need not leave his car or a change payment device or the like need not be purchased separately at a gas station. SOLUTION: The payment adjustment device 1 for gas supply comprises a card insertion port into which a payment adjustment card to adjust the gas supply is inserted, a slot 14 into which money is thrown in, a display unit 11 to display an operating method and other guide information, and change returning units 16 and 17 to return changes. A card issuing mechanism to issue pre-paid cards C1 and C2 having a recording layer to record at least available balance information, recording units 31 and 33 to record information in the pre-paid cards or the recording layer of the issued pre-paid cards, and a reading unit 30 to read information recorded in the recording layer of the issued pre-paid card, are provided therein. Changes are paid by cash after adjustment of gas supply according to the selection of the user, or the pre-paid card with available balance information recorded in the recording layer is returned.
