PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for carrying people, increasing comfort of a skier carried on a seat of a rope way system, by preventing cooling of the seat of a chair lift that is perceived as uncomfortable by the skier. SOLUTION: The seat 7 has at least one element 10 having good thermal storage performance in action temperature. The element 10 is preferably assembled in the seat and/or a backrest cushion (8, 9), and is provided with for example, a cover 30 including solid or fluid material having good thermal storage performance.
